JOURNAL / STYLING NOTE 01
One tee.
Fewer decisions.
A practical starting point for wearing Collection 01. Begin with the graphic, then choose the pieces around it.
A signature on the back and a statement on the front ask for different things. Decide which part of the shirt you want to show before adding a layer.
Balance the volume.
Try a straight trouser with room through the thigh. Let the tee fall over the waistband, then check the silhouette from the side. If both pieces feel too wide, narrow the trouser before sizing down the shirt.
For a different proportion, try a plain, straight dark jean. Keep distressing and extra graphics to a minimum.
Choose one contrast.
- Chalk
- Navy trousers and a dark shoe put the contrast at the shirt.
- Tonal black
- Black trousers keep the outline continuous. Let differences in texture do the work.
- Olive
- Charcoal keeps the look subdued; an ecru trouser makes it lighter.
Leave the mark visible.
An open, plain overshirt frames the Statement Tee’s front graphic. For the Signature and Monogram designs, wearing the tee on its own keeps the reverse visible.
Finish with a simple loafer or clean, low-profile trainer. These are styling suggestions, not a prescribed uniform.
